The popular town of Los Cristianos is the second largest holiday resort in the south of Tenerife, the largest being its next door neighbour "Playa de Las Americas". Despite their close proximity to one another there is a distinct difference in the atmosphere of the two, especially at night.

Los Cristianos existed as a small fishing village. It has an old town centre complete with Catholic Church, is entirely pedestrian and wheelchair friendly stretching from the port to the main shopping street Avenida de Suecia where there are a variety of quality restaurants and bars that provide good entertainment into the evening but of course if you prefer to sample some of the madness of nightlife etc. then Las Americas is only 5 minutes and a few Euro away by taxi.

Los Cristianos boasts an expanse of beautiful beaches and promenade along its entire seafront which stretches to Las Americas with many bars, restaurants and shops.

It is from Los Cristianos' port that the ferry and hydrofoil departs daily to the islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro.

To summarise Los Cristianos: it's a small village with a lively town centre, wonderful beaches, good weather, all the shops and restaurants you could wish for, it is more attractive, perhaps even more 'exclusive' than Las Americas but lacks the night time 'edge' which some, particularly families and older visitors, may see as a blessing.

The apartments we feature are privately owned in two adjoining residential complexes on the seafront at Los Cristianos, so if you prefer some peace and quiet during the day, relax by the pool, within a stones throw of the lively centre and promenade, then this is definitely for you.
